"Hold on to your hats, There's a flying Gazebo!"
This lyric from the song, A Week in June, references a story about Kaat and her bandmate, Marv, playing a gig in June on a golf course. They were under a gazebo and the wind took both the gazebo and Kaat's new hat. Kaat's hat was saved but the gazebo landed in the lake after Marv took a beating from it.

"THE TRACK “STOP THE RAIN” IS HER FIFTH SOLO RELEASE, AND IT’S A SWEET AND MELLOW REFLECTION ON WANTING TO COMFORT A LOVED ONE FROM THE PAST. THE SONG IS FULL OF NOSTALGIA, STORYTELLING, AND WARMTH. "

"KAAT GREW UP LISTENING TO BRANDI CARLILE, LADY GAGA, NO DOUBT, ADELE, ARETHA FRANKLIN, PINK, NORAH JONES, EVA CASSIDY. THAT LIST OF BADASS WOMEN IN MUSIC ARE HER HEROES AND IN LISTENING TO “MONSTER”, YOU CAN HEAR PIECES OF THEM. THE FIRST LINES HAVE THE ATTITUDE OF PINK, THE AUTHENTICITY OF BRANDI CARLILE, WITH THE VOCAL TONAL CONTROL OF ADELE. ADD IN THE BREATHY CHARACTERISTICS OF NORAH JONES AND PUNK SPIN OF NO DOUBT, AND KAATWALK EMBODIES THAT LIST OF BADASS INFLUENCES."
